Possible SPOILERS - NG+ armors...
So I just starting my first NG+, and I must say I am disappointed with the starborn armor.
I mean, sure it has a decently high armor all around, but If I get a legendary Suit, helmet & pack separately they would likely be stronger with all their individual stats.

Would have been cool if the Starborn gear was also divided in 3 pieces instead of a singular suit. That way you could mix and match it with some of the other gears.

There is no way to upgrade the suit from what I can tell (other than going into multiple Ng++++ to get better suit), or Transmog options to visually use it but wear other gear or the other way around.
Am I missing something?

Does this change later for the NG+ 10 Suit? How does everyone else feel about it?

it's fine in the early going in NG+ and the most beneficial thing about it is the weight for 3 pieces tailored in just one.

Yeah Bethesda has a fairly terrible track record with high end/end game gear in every single one of their games. It’s like they’re scared to implement powerful items for when you’re at that stage of the game. It should be 3 pieces that are more powerful than what they give you.

the ng+10 suit has roughly the same armor values as the free mark1 suit you can get in the lodge, plus you can actually mod those ;D

so yeah, not really worth using unless you really like the style and dont mind the handicap.

Glad it is not just me then.
Early NG+ of course its good gear, and yea the weight is good.

Hope they make some changes to it later, allow transmogs and such.
Not just relying on Mods to fix things, I prefer not to use mods unless I really have to.
