Kaiser stuck at door bug breaks Hostile Intelligence quest

Some quest spoilers obviously.

I'm trying to finish the late UC quest Hostile Intelligence but have come to a brick wall. After watching that little slug turn into the massive alien thing I'm supposed to 'follow Kaiser' into the next room. So he legs it and then just stops in front of a door and then...nothing. Hadrian or whatever she's called hasn't moved from the window where the slug craziness happened, too traumatised i guess. How am i supposed to get that idiot robot to move?

Have tried reloading earlier saves, have re run the whole questline a couple of times now. Also tried rebooting, flying off and coming back etc. Even tried bashing the NPCs ever so slowly to the doors to get them out of their shell shock but nadda. Guess they've hit their moral event horizon.

Has anyone managed to get past this? Should say I'm on Xbox so no command console.

Yea I'm stuck on it as well it sucks was enjoying that quest line unfortunately also heard if you leave to do other missions you can get locked out from returning so options are load save from beginning of quest or wait for a fix

I'm having the same issue....killed the alien...have the sample in inventory but the robot won't take it. Tried reloading...fast traveling elsewhere....sleeping for 24hrs on ship. Nothing worked. Due to all the auto-saving, exit saving, quick saving...last prior save is like 5 levels ago....totally stuck here.

Yep... Same on Xbox. I watched the YouTube walkthrough and he just doesn't initiate the fact that he doesn't have enough power and then open the upstairs door so I'm stuck

Try 002b17c4.moveto player if on PC, moves H to you. Just stand by the door near K and use the command. Sorry I was going to use full names but couldn't figure out the spoiler tag etc.

Same , i tried shoot Kaiser dont work. This mission being bugged só much time ,boring

The Code for K is e0020dbac. For me it worked to stand near the gate at the end of the Room (ground floor) and type "e0020dbac.moveto player". This fixed my Problem.

Why are my runs in these quests never bugged? I almost feel left out.
I've run that one three times in three different hardness levels.

There is a recording ind the room with the windows you have to get it, and you have to talk to hadrian before you go to the robot

yeah happened to me too
kaiser would appear after i completed temples which was a bit weird
couldnt complete it but i did it in NG+

Well the OP is on XBox, and XBox simply lacks the resources that a PC has. Which is why XBox is limited to 30 FPS. When the resources get "clogged" that is when things tend to act up the most.

I have also seen it with Fallout 4 when I can run the same quest on a stressed game engine and get multiple different bugs.

For the OP, I recommend short playing sessions, like every 1-2 hours exiting the game and restarting the game. I know on PC after about the 5-6 hour mark you start seeing things like Andreja missing her head.
