Buying ship parts... for 0o repairs

I saw someone say you could buy ship parts at red mile but I'm there for days looking for how to do so. The ship guy just wants to mod/buy/sell ships , no "ship parts" for sale.

I've kinda been ignoring missions, not much but need parts to continue my piracy work

I just buy them from vendors. They are under medical. Or if you want an exploit to get free ship parts along with credits ect. I made a video about that as well https://youtube.com/shorts/rW-w5Z9hpVM?feature=share

I will keep checking, but usually the ship Trade Kiosk don't sell ship parts. Seems a bit strage...

Update: yous, traders inside the city - for example, New Atlantis, sell it. But it's strange, you need to go shopping for ship part to a shop inside the city.

There you can buy ship parts. But they are pretty expensive, i think it's 1K each or something.

Get them from the general goods merchants.
And don't forget to move them to the shipo cargo, they weight a lot and don't work from the character inventory anyway.

You can buy them from general goods merchants as another user pointed out. I get mine from Jemison Mercantile in New Atlantis and Trade Authority in the Well in that same city. You can usually get between 4-8 from those two vendors alone. It will be in the "aid" section. Make sure you are looting any ships you destroy as well because they tend to drop ship parts.
