New Atlantis Spaceport Disappears as Landing site. :(

After arriving at the spaceport the first time, I have noticed that I am unable to land the ship thereafter. It only gives me the options of quick-travel to mission areas, i.e. 'The Lodge'.

For those players that wish it, can we also have re-enabled the option to land at the spaceport. The reason is that whenever I return to New Atlantis, is usually off the back of a mission somewhere else, and the first thing I want to do is sell stuff I have collected. So to use the Trade network booth and J. Mercantile are usually my first stops.

The other reason is I actually enjoy walking..(true RP). Same way I walked around Skyrim & Fallout 4. For me it's part of the enjoyment. So Quick-travel is not really how I like to play RPGs.

This will also include any other ship landing areas that I haven't been to yet that disappear after first arriving.

There is one called New Atlantis, It's the spaceport. I've used it many times.

If when you arrive in orbit around the planet, you press and hold the Tab key, a map of the world comes up. If you do not see New Atlantis, rotate the globe by holding down the right mouse button until you do see it. Hover over the marker with your mouse, and the marker will expand to show each section of the city. To land at the space port, for any city, on any planet, select the one that is the name of the city (in this case, New Atlantis) - that will set you down at the space port.

Well, for some unknown reason. I have rotated the globe, and when I see new atlantis, It just dropdowns the missions areas. For instance: The Lodge, The well. etc. all are instant travel to those areas, I cannot for some unknown reason Just see 'New Atlantis' to land at first area

Maybe you're mission locked right now, not sure what's up.

There's a few missions that lock out that area, can you walk to it?

Do you have any contraband?

I can take the NAT and walk to it, and I don't have contraband lol

I think there's a mission that does this, I remember seeing it a while back, but I never found out why.

I had contraband so skipped out of the system, when I came back it was normal.

For selling stuff, try 'The Den,' also.

It seems the landing cutscenes don't work after you first visit an area?

I was completely caught off guard when an attempt to land threw me out into a harsh environment outside of my space ship (not the safety of new atlantis but I think it was the return to vectera mission). I didn't have my space suit on. Suddenly my character starts getting hit with all manner of afflictions.

I like to land, decide what weapons/gear I'm gonna take with me while exploring. Kind of a bummer there's no way to avoid this extra bit of fast-travel unless I'm missing something.

if you get blocked out of atlantis because of some missions...

fly to another system like "sol" and fly back to atlantis ... now normaly its possible to land.

its not enough to fly to another planet, you NEED to fly to another system!
