[BUG] Hunter turns hostile even tho he is an ally

So near the end of a NG+ you can alliance with the hunter, but after the temple he turns hostile all the time. Would not be a problem cause defeating him is easy. But then he is on my ship all the time and turning hostile again, essentially blocking any kind of travel because game always says there is an enemy around. (and can't completely kill him on the ship)

Down him then go into stealth and wait until he can't see you anymore. You should be able to fast travel anywhere sleep for a week and he should not be hostile anymore.

Hunter turned hostile on my first playthrough after the temple. I guess I accidentally shot him a few times while we were there.

Does anyone know what might cause such a bug? Is it because you choose to Persuade the Emissary?

I killed them both on my fist playthough. I do know a weapon or ammo that does damage to any nearby will cause an ally or almost anyone near the one you shoot to go hostile. Constellation and hired crew are exempt from that but you can put them down with collateral damage ... Sarah hates that just does not mention it :)

This happened to me once, I fixed it by hiding from him, sneaking aboard my ship. He follows you but if you're fast, you can jump in the pilot seat and take off.
