Bounty Hunters Had A Bad Day

Hello Pilots
Just took a detour from my first mission with Sarah to walk on Luna and got attacked by Bounty Hunters. They picked the wrong Badger to mess with let me tell you and I left three of them laying on the surface and then another three in the cockpit of their nearby ship when I investigated it. Yup, I was there to kick ass and chew bubblegum and I was all out of....... oh well maybe I'm showing my age. Three questions though...

1/ How do I compare their ship (an Ecliptic Stiletto) to mine, to see if it's worth swapping to.
2/ "Can" I safely take this ship? I'm hearing about bugs connected to ship capture. I asked this before but still not happy I know the answer.
3/ How do I get rid of these bodies on the ship?

1: I dont think you can, before actually taking it. At least I havent found a way to.
2: I havent heard of any such bug, so I'd say its safe. I've never encountered any issues.
3: i think they disappear after swapping ships? Not 100% sure.

I have no answers, but will subscribe to this thread to hear some.

Especially, the last one, is kind of pressing and important. Don't wanna eat breakfast (rather drink your liquid eggs from a tube) in the morning, next to decomposing, stinking corpses?!

... and don't get me started on what Sarah would say!

take it and sell it if u don`t need, if u go into the editor it is supposed to clear the body`s, haven` tried it

I did exactly the same. II took it to Jemison and registered it with no issues. I liked the ship a lot and it was my main for a fair while, again with no issues. The bodies eventually disappear but I believe you can use the upgrade ship function to make them go away instantly, don't know for sure because I never tried it.

wenn you change your homeship, empty the captians locker. otherwise the items could be gone, the normaly shipstorage is safe.

I tried to take a bounty hunter ship once. It got a little weird. I boarded the ship, took out the crew and sat in the pilot seat. Got the message saying this could be my new home ship. I liked my ship and just wanted to sell this thing. So I go back to my ship and jump, and the other ship apparently got left behind. However, for some reason all of their loose junk around the ship made it's way into my cargo hold.

You have to make it your home ship; but you can change it.

Lol I can see it now, "Hello. I'd like to register this ship. Just ignore the bodies." Lol
