They could change engine but if the same laziness still occur. I doubt it'll change anything.
Why?
No way i trust this company again.. im glad i refunded the game.
and i will not preorder elder scrolls untill ive seen actuall gameplay this time.
Valid point.
yeh first news was that they will make the next elder scrolls in U engine , but since then:
"Todd Howard is talking a little more openly about The Elder Scrolls 6, including confirming that it will utilize the same engine as Starfield. "
On the other hand Creation Engine open the game to infinite mods.. thats the reason why bethesda games are still played..
for example fallout 4 have more active players than fallout 76. If creation engine is outdated then it should be updated... SIMPLE AS THAT, stop asking for UE.. it just ruin the games market having only one Engine.
I'm tired of UE games. We've already seen games like Red Dead Redemption which use in-house engines (RAGE) or Tomb Raider... or A Plague Tale.
Most of you guys don't know what they are talking about.
Stale. Dull. Boring. A chore to engage with. A step backwards in term of design and features from ten years ago.

Sticking with creation engine is like you buy an OLED TV for 2000 euro , just to watch old black and white movies.
I bought the 4070 ti oc, to enjoy ray tracing , HDR, 21:9 screen etc technologies in minimum of 60 fps. There are other engines too not only unreal engine but as you can see creation engine has its limits.
But it seems sticking with the Creation Engine is a compromise that will limit a game's potential in certain ways so users can create mods.
While the Bethesda game engines are great for user mods, there are also other games/engines that allow and enable user development of mods. All one needs to do is look at all the games listed on Nexus Mods to see that.
It all indicates that Bethesda can move beyond the Creative Engine to be able to provided mods, etc. if others games/engines can do it.
The link your provided is an explanation as to the term 'vaporware'.
It does not explain why you stated Elder Scrolls 6 is vaporware.
Im hoping ES6 will be a more traditional BGS game with a more typical, single, larger living world just like a massive Skyrim or something.... Basically a traditional ES game...
And if thats the case then i have no fears about it being good - It will be amazing...
