Londinium weather problems
I can't get off the ship in Londinium. As soon as I do this, the extreme weather gauge starts ticking and very soon I get negative effects. My helmet has 45 thermal protection, and my clothes also have +15. I don't understand what I should do to avoid this effect.

You can't do anything to avoid it. Thermal protection is fundamentally broken in the game.

Londinium gives you frostbite because *plot reasons* -- there's no logic behind it, and unless they completely change the way that thermal protection works *in general* and then remove that plot point *specifically* it will always be both dumb and broken.

Don't tell me there is a city named Londinium in this game? Couldn't they have at least been a bit more creative lol

Just take lots of heal paste for frostbite and I think, injectors for pneumonia. They're easy to make in the chem lab.

Yeah that was a ♥♥♥♥♥ of a quest. I dragged my sorry ass through that half dead, with hypothermia, frost bites and crippled. I went through my supply of medicine half way through that area.

Protections are basically a temporary shield against environmental effects, not a resistance to them.

Better ask why in the starting planet (Vectera ?) it shows -420°C TEmperature and you need no protection at all where in other systems you start freezing at -120°C

Yeah dont listen to him debuffs will eventually make it hard for your character to breathe and you wont be able to fight ;p Go to local pharmacy and buy all the pills you can find there before you go to lodinium xD

I thought this was some kind of bug, but now I understand that it happens to everyone. So, if this is a part of the plot, why didn't any NPC say a word about it? If they had discussed the extreme weather of the planet, even indirectly, I would have understood everything immediately.

Use your personal atmosphere power and food that regens your mana bar thing

Devs might have assumed you would know that at this point, by the time I got there I dealt with a few other instances of extreme conditions in the game.

My scanner reads -18C at Londinion which makes it even more silly, cold weather gear easily prevents frostbite at those temps on earth so how on earth would you get frostbite so fast at that temp in a space suit? Whoever designed this mission should have at least set the temp to something actually low.

Well to be fair, during the quest they refer to the planet as a "frozen hell" multiple times.
