The first Tsar was black.
Is it such a far fetch then for a game that takes place 300 years from now to take that and create a hypothetical future where Russia and the countries of Africa became closer and closer allies - leading to more immigration from Africa to Russia and a larger presence of “Black Russians” who would grow up and learn to speak like “White Russians”?
Honestly I get people being against Russia at this war, but it has in many cases devolved to plain racism and actual hatred towards the people it's actually disgusting.
You are either on drugs or intentionally lying.
Russia has 144 Million people. Only about 50k are Black. So now can you understand why it feels like an odd choice?
How about this, imagine a White dude with a Japanese accent, about as common. Now imagine how people would react.
I'd imagine if a deep 'Russian' accent manages to persist, that would mean there's a 'little Russia' colony keeping it alive, same with the Aussie, Irish, African etc.
