UC SysDef mission board
So I'm finally granted access to the SysDef mission board, and woops it looks like they are the same quests I can get from any other mission board. Did I miss something? I hope they change this in the future. I was thinking more targeted missions, like take out a SPECIFIC member of Crimson Fleet, someone with a name and maybe some history. Silly me...fingers crossed, though, that this gets some attention in a future DLC.

Yeah, that's what I mean. I thought the SysDef board would be different, like the Ryujin board has different types of missions. Oh well.

btw blowing up pirate ships with turrets is super duper easy even at lvl 85 :P

Does it at least let you build up rep with sysdef so you can buy cool sysdef stuff?

Single player games like X4 have a rep system with related rewards. Not purely the domain of MMOs. If there's nothing to work towards, like promotions or exclusive gear, then what would be the point of doing sysdef missions? What differentiates any of the mission boards?

The only reward is money, experience points, and whatever cool loot you may find along the way.

Best to build a mission board on a level 75 planet and then the quests from it will have the best chance to get legendary items off the bosses you need to kill. They will be levels 72 - 98 and some will be Mythic and Legendary/Armored.

But check every enemy you kill when doing those. Even the non boss ones can drop a legendary item.

good suggestion.
also the mod to get even more missions on the mission board helps. also though if you get the mod for leveled mission boards. even the mission boards on lower lvl planets will match your lvl when giving you missions.

Yeah, but I don't use mods. 3,683 hrs in Fallout 4 and never used a mod. lol. I rather just play a game as it is. Starfield is a great game and I enjoy it as is. But each to his own way to play a game.

i mostly wrote that for any reader that may enter the thread. I actually did believe you were the type that wouldnt use mods just from your previous posts.

Quick question. How many sysdef missions are on the board at one time for you? for me it is 2 missions, while the riujin will have 4, the freestar 5, and the uc you have to talk to that mast dude to receive 1 or 2, but for sysdef.

how many quests are on sysdef board? is it 2 or more its been a while

I would like to see a mod that levels the missions.... Being level 170+ and going to level 1 systems for missions isn't really much of a challenge, there may be one or two high level NPC's there, but, the rest are in low double, and single.... digits......

Go to level 65 - 75 planets. Much more of a challenge, esp on Very Hard. level 129 and I still on occasion can die to a Legendary Mythic boss going to those. But I use no mods to give myself a edge.

nothing to work toward? hahahahahahahhahahahahahahha.
you should just stick to mmo style games and you will be much happier for it.

What are you talking about? The question was what made the sysdef mission board different from any of the other ones because the missions appear to be the same. I replied maybe there was rep to differentiate the mission boards. Not sure why your back is up about MMOs or whatever. You need to ease up on the hash it's impacting your grasp on reality

Yep, been doing this for a while now. Was just hoping for a little more from the SysDef boards since you have to go to a special place to receive them. Oh well...maybe in a future upgrade or DLC :/
