so the not having the 100 star systems yet is what you will use to judge the game? what about games that will NEVER deliver on certain features that were promised? there are plenty of times where a game company (including bethesda) say " X feature will be in the game" and then it never gets added to the game, are those games automatically awful because of that?
and you dont NEED to spend a lot of money on ships since you can use in game currency instead (but i still dissagre with the pricing of plenty of em).
But even if there were, CIG is selling ships as they wipe player progress, ultimately making people to lose what they gained, so that eventually buying more ships with real money, to be able to keep them.
I can play those "games" on my PC as "how they were advertised". There is no sq42, no SC as they were advertised since 2015™. And your "persistent universe" has been the lie I had been hearing since 2018.
1 system... 100 systems, with or without sparkles, telltale of a persistent universe versus wipes, millions of "backers" not playing anymore since what is presented is little more than some junk that is being constantly "improved", but none of those matter.
Is it released? No. Does it have a release date? No. Do people believe that it will be released fully functional? No. There is no game. End of story.
Whine at the capabilities of CE as much as you like, it doesn't matter, unless it fails to found a game at 2023 called Starfield, it is superior to whatever fraud you might call "Star Citizen" or "Squadron 42".
so we are going by "how they were advertised"? ok so i can name plenty of games that never actually released like crackdown 3 multiplayer, half life 2, cyberpunk 2077, dying light 2, bioshock infinite,
would you say those also are not games? after all they did advertise a game that was never delivered.
And Star Citizen provides what... Modules that affect some parameters on engines and barely fixed the shield holes after 8 years? kekw
How about... How about Squadron 42? Did they speed it up even further after 7 years after its intended release date?
hmmm so i assume you think creation engine is garbage as well? after all you do seem to think that buggy game= bad engine
There are only 50 people in a universe with THAT engine. What, you aren't chanting about server meshing yet? Because maybe it will not work for another decade?
Tsk tsk...
so you DO think a buggy game=bad engine? in that case creation engine must be horrible with all of the bugs in the likes of skyrim and of course, fallout 76.
I got CS:Go for 10 bucks and have 17ms ping.
