Yeah, comparing Starfield with trailers or scripted gameplay videos. Keep playing Cyberpunk after 3 years of bugs :steambored:

I mean i see your point of view. I can't agree though, these games really don't stand up to Starfield on those presentations.

so you think that if they would just use Unreal engine 5 they game would be 100% better?

I understand you probably just don't like BGS for some reason. There is a good reason why BGS stays with the Creation Engine vs Unreal. The Creation engine literally is what makes a BGS game. Unreal cannot compete in regards to item density for instance. Yes Unreal games are pretty, but it would suck for a BGS style game, which is what I and others want. Not to mention you'd be throwing away decades of modding experience for the community as well. It's just not a good choice and I don't understand why people even suggest it.

I have played Unreal Engine Games. Its just not the same. Looks prettier isn't better.

There is a certain responsiveness that feels off in Unreal Engine Games. I would take a Unity game over Unreal.

I think it started with Unreal 3 (the game not the Engine) and just hasn't felt right since. I definately noticed it the most in Conan: Exiles. Its just a different (Not better) feel than say Skyrim or 7 days to die (just two examples).

yeah get rid of the only engine that allows game wide persistant items wherever they are.........one of the backbones of every beth SP RPG......

sometime in the last 5 years people stopped using their brain.

With this thread, I just wanted to say that the technical part of Starfield's visualization sucks. I am sure that the game itself will attract hundreds of hours and will be replayable and variable with new passages. But the visual sucks.

It's a BGS game. I've never in all my years of gaming ever been wowed by the visuals of a BGS game. BGS is always a few years behind graphically and to be fair they have to be to create their open worlds. If visuals are what get you into a game, maybe just play something else. There will be mods to enhance the visuals eventually so you could wait for those. Look up what Skyrim looks like these days with mods and a powerful PC, it's pretty impressive.

Well you know about whole modding universe for each newer Bethesda game? UE will kill that in a eye blink. So thanks God that Todd stays along new versions of CE.

Engines dont mean ♥♥♥♥, Its how the games run and Unreal 5 usually runs horribly

We are hearing about the great UE5 games right around the corner for over 3 years now. I'd rather have something that's actually released.. Also, Mass Effect 4? rofl. zombies never die.

unreal engine designed for fps corridor games but not for open large scale worlds
one can't *simply* port a game to ue5.
