Serpent's Embrace details?

I'd like to get more information on this trait. All I can find, other than the official in-game description which is totally useless, is that it gives you the 'buff' for 4 hours and that the buff is +25 to Health and O2.

Doesn't anyone know if that's true? It was from old posts as the wiki's don't even have anything but the official description.

Also is this 4 in-game hours, and if so, exactly how long is that in real time? Does 1 in-game hour equal 10 real time minutes?

Also is there a 'middle ground'? Like four hours of buff, four hours of nothing, and then four hours of penalty? Just seems odd to just go from buff to negative buff instantly.

PS - Personally I'm not sure the buff is really worth it. I clearly don't 'need' it as I've never used it before. Looking more for a role-playing option. But needing to do a quick jump before any long mission does seem a lot more annoying than what it's worth.

Buffs are measured in in-game hours.

The temporary boost on your health and oxygen is no big deal to me and from what I've heard you don't even get many if any additional dialogue with Andreja (who is my main companion when I'm not traveling solo).

But I'm using it for Shattered Space in hopes that I'll get some new dialogue but I'm not holding my breath.

All that said I believe there is dialogue under the hood in this game that was never hooked into the game. For example there is a mod that brings back 2 possible reactions from Andreja during her quest.
