removing house va'runn bounty

so i was out and about just doing my thing when some zealots came a knocking and i shot them dead with a varunn rifle only a penitent pilgrim was nearby and got partially hit and i ended up with a bounty. Now i cant enter Dazra without getting shot at. So i went to my self service bounty kiosk to remove the bounty only to find out YOU CAN'T!! so i decide to go to my ship and sleep and figure maybe theyll all calm down after like a week. NOPE!! that didnt work either. so now i cant enter Dazra to finish playing the DLC content and ill be damned if im gonna NG+ YET AGAIN to fix another damned bug because bethesda refuses to actually test their games and content before release. anyone know a way to fix this nonsense or should i chalk this dlc up as a loss?

so i take it, by the lack of responses, there is no way to remove the bounty other than starting completely all over again?

Place a self clearance terminal on your ship (use decoration menu inside your ship).

it has been 24 minutes since your post you waited 14 minutes to reply, But the short answer is, You can't use self service in the same system with a bounty. Example you can't clear UC Bounty in UC space, and can't do Freestar/CF in their areas, i would assume you have to go to another system to clear it.

According to another user, you can not use the self service bounty kiosk to clear it.

You should be able to walk up and talk to a guard. He will eventually tell you that you are wanted, and you can submit to the authorities. You can't pay a bounty in Va'ruun space, they will put you in jail for one day per 100 credits on your bounty and you will lose your bounty in XP.

The self service bounty kiosk will NEVER work for Va'ruun bounties. It only works for the settled systems.

did this already and even with my weapon not on me they still shot at me so im literally unable to enter darza without getting shot at

If they've already started shooting, take out your weapon, then walk up to one of them and put it away.

Tested by going into Darza, shooting a random citizen, then walking up to one of the guards shooting me and putting my gun away. I got seven days in jail for a 15k bounty. Repeated several times.

I'm guessing seven. I think that's the cap, since I got six for a bounty of 650 and seven for anything in the 15k+ range. Certainly haven't checked 500k tho

In my case I had a 15k bounty and I when I entered the city the guards just gave me the option to surrender. Maybe a bug that sometimes the guards get aggroed?

mine was only 650 and they were still shooting at me like crazy. didnt matter how long i slept or what i did they just keep shooting.

mine was a 650 bounty and believe me i tried that and it didnt work. they just backed up and kept shooting at me even more.
