Having a lot of fun. I hope they do this type of DLC with other factions. This version of me doesn't have the Va'ruun backstory though so I feel like I'm missing out and will need to check it out again to see what's different with that trait, perhaps by taking Andreja with me even. Maybe corny to some, but I like the story being told and how it's being told so far, taking my time with it though and seeing all that is has to offer. In my opinion, it has A LOT to offer in terms of world-building and exploration. I'm level 152 and even with scaling the encounters in this DLC feel a tad harder than the base game, but I'm here for it. Pretty sweet weapons and armors for those who care like I do, grenades pretty sweet too. I got it through the Constellation Edition so I can't really say if it's worth how much they're charging for it but I'm happy and think it's worth being a part of the Constellation Edition. They also must have worked real hard on the music because that ♥♥♥♥ slaps, I almost can't tell if it's new music, or good timing of their OST.

What are your thoughts?

i am trying to find out how to do this without joining a brain dead religion. If I have to join I guess I will have to kill everyone on that planet to unjoin.

So far I think it's entirely "play the part" while you're in the DLC. Just based on my impressions so far, I think everything to be done in the DLC will not affect the base game in any way besides taking the things you pickup back with you (whenever that is). May not be everyone's cup of tea, but I dig it. Look at it this way, you'll be killing them all before the rest of us eventually do.

Its a very "when in Rome" scenario. Which, honestly, is entirely how one should go about visiting a foreign nation.

Edit: On the matter of the topic at hand, I'm enjoying the dlc thus far. I've only gotten to the main city. and am currently exploring it. But I really like the aesthetic, and find the story quite interesting. A few new weapons have crossed my path, and even though I generally dont use heavy weapons.....ever, that new one(name escapes me) is quite enticing. Overall, so far, despite being space themed, it feels very Elder Scrollsish. Though, again, I'm just in the beginning, so that opinion could change over time.

I'm having fun with it and I like the challenge it gives me along with the mods I have that make enemies tougher. Good stuff so far.

The planet has a dreamlike feel to it with that colour palette, some of the station's corridors seem gloomy, probably inspired by Event Horizon, Alien and Dead Space, which is great. It's an expansion to play at your leisure, savouring its details and exploring the surroundings, as each point of interest is really distinctive and seemingly unique.

Wasted money. Yea I forced myself to play this trash fest DLC up to the point of having to join this cult. No thanks. The space station part wasn't even worth the extra money. At this point. If Bethesda releases another DLC. I'll watch people play it before considering getting it.

It's good to find out you don't like something though when you've barely dipped a toe into it, that way you don't jump in, you know? I'm happy for you that you found out you didn't like the DLC less than a hour into it, too bad they don't refund DLC's (or they might? unsure, I haven't been able to do so in the past.)
