Can't Dock onto the space station to start the DLC

I have 2 saves, one is unmodded and one is modded. Tried both, tried turning off all my mods for my modded save and i get the dialogue about the station saying not to dock. I get the quest and when i fly to the station i get no option to dock. T . T

I have just had the same problem the docking prompt didn't show up but as I stopped at where the prompt should be I mouse looked around and I was caught in the animation to board. VERY Frustrating.

Have you actually tried targeting the station? Its the "E" button by default.
