STARFIELD SHATTERED SPACE ISN'T TRIGGERING !!

The Shattered space mission is not triggering after any grav-jumps between systems, as if the DLC was not activated, despite having bought it on Steam:
The Shattered Space DLC was pre-ordered by me one year ago.
After the mega Starfield update of today (Sept. 30th) the DLC appears as installed (blue check in front), but I do not receive any distress call during any grav-jump between systems and no star station is visible.
So, I am not getting the expected mission prompt and I do not know how to start the shattered space mission.
"On Small Step" was completed one year ago (I am now at level 155 in Starfield and have visited all the star systems and all their planets).
I have a few basic official MODs activated in the last months, but I assume, that it should not interfer with the shattered space dlc.
The game files were verified on Steam with no anomaly report.

1- Is anyone else facing a similar issue with the shattered space DLC of Starfield?

2- Any clue on how to solve this very frustrating issue?

There's your primary issue.

If you start a new game, it should be fine. Purge your mods.

Your second issue is that your save file is likely heavy AF.

Im having the issue where the space station spawns in a system ok but i cannot dock.

Hello all. I jumped to to Shoza system (by pure luck) and got a message from a space station not to board but was able to board anyway. Its right below Ixyll system (to the right of the map). Hope this works for you guys who are having problems not being able to get the DLC going.

Update on my issue (Shattered Space not triggering):

1-I desactivated all MODS, no joy. No detress call after grav-jumps.

2-I reloaded old saves from June, no joy, same issue.

3-I deselected the DLC pre-ordered blue check mark and then put it back.
It loaded a small update of 14Mo and a small pop-up confirmed that the new content "DLC Pre-Order" is added.
Then, after the game launch I got a pop-up window mentioning that a new game content was loaded and asking if I want to activate it.
I confirmed and reloaded my last save.
No change; Still no distress call. no triggering of shattered space.

I am now really stuck.
Help would be appreciated...

Bethesda does recommend that players start the DLC when they are at least Level 35. According to Bethesda, players can start the Shattered Space DLC at any point after completing the main quest's introductory mission, "One Small Step.

Have you made sure to jump to a star system which has no scripted events already active or available?

Yes I did. all my still remaining script events are disabled.
Beside that, I have already explored all star systems and each of their planets over 900 hours of game play. But the Kavnyk system (featuring the Va'ruun'kay planet) does not appear on my star system map.

I 'm aware of this requirement. As I am at level 155, it should not be an issue.
I expect that Bethasda did not put a max level limitation to Shattered Space...

I'd say its more triggering in the sense to how bad it is. Once it does trigger for you.

As reflected in my previous post, I have jumped to another system many times and never received any distress call, so I did not see a station, could not board the station etc... The absence of a distress call after jumps to any star system is the problem, that I flag here.
I reloaded multiple time earlier saves and it did not solve thie problem of never getting any distress call.

rule of thumb for me, and it may be anal or OCD of me, whenever a add on or dlc or major update happens, I re-install the game whole brand new again and all mods and start a whole new game from the beginning

saves face with dealing with agony and anguish of bugged saves and mods outdated incompatible with new dlc etc

currently the only mod I can't use is rename anything and anyone, it's mod needs updating, the game gives a dlll outdated error with it

but if you like mental agony and anguish and anxiety, do it your way

Mission spawned just fine for me, in a playthrough I started a few days before the DLC came out, with mods active, on the original install of the game that's been on my drive since Starfield came out.

(of course, I'm only level 15, so I avoided the station and didn't start the mission)
