Its probably the same, just do more quests... if your married to sarah, i dont think u can with Andreja.
Also when you married sarah, it probably locked all other relations out... since well the others know your married, so they ain't going to try.
i highly doubt there is a harem romance in this game... :|
Ummm.... About that...
"Marry" Andreja first... Then start pursuing Sarah... Andreja will get angry, and yell at you about how she made clear she would not share, but if you pass a speech check, she'll agree, and you can marry both... Found out by accident on my last playthrough...
Not sure if you can convince Andreja, if having already married Sarah...
Make sure you have the Leadership skill!
everyone else is impartial to the harem puddle
I think the cap is only temporary. iirc, I used to chain those missions and only one out of 2 rescue missions was giving an affinity boost. I think waiting/sleeping in game after a mission did not affect that. Weird but still a repeatable way of getting "likes"
But I found the simplest way is just to have them following you and not worry about it. Affinity increases over time, you just have to get Xp once in a while (I think the minimum is 10 minutes). So even if you're just building or doing something that doesn't give any xp or affinity, just shoot a critter once in a while to get the counter going.
For reference Affinity grows MUCH faster in Starfield than in Fallout 4.
I have and have had for some time, NG+ after NG+, a crew of the more vanilla crew. They seldom interrupt me, seldom judge or get haughty opinions. They STFU and do their jobs, LOL! And who cares about their affinity level? Lol. You pay them, they join you. Now be quiet and do the thing you are here for...
Just my humble opinion...
And the other thing that occurs to me, the whole process is annoying... "Sarah liked that." Oh did you Sarah, I have your approval now? Oh that is SO important to me! I LIVE for YOUR approval, lol. Sarah, I am the Starborn, you're an NPC. Not to sound arrogant, but you should be seeking my approval. And by the way, you die in half the universes... Yeah, you have a fifty fifty shot of even making it... Sorry...
again, not trying to hump her, just trying to do her questline, but lacking in reliable methods by which to raise her reputation due to already doing most of the quests recommended with Sarah.
Wait so are you saying that just having them with me, makes their affinity go up periodically? So it's not ONLY when I see the "X Liked That" pop up in the top right? Just sheer proximity to my Starborn butt makes their meter go up? Is that just your theory or is that something that's been confirmed? Because if so, then yeah great, I'll just run around with her, but usually Bethesda has it triggered by actually doing stuff to raise their opinion of you.
Yes, I just had an affinity dialogue pop in from Barett while I was afk browsing the forum ("if you have the time, I want to tell you something" line). Happened to me a lot of times before on various playthroughs with every companion.
That tends to prove that passive affinity is a thing. In fallout 4 the only condition is that you must earn XP at least once every 10 minutes for it to work, Starfield must have a similar rule.
There are apparently also unmarked affinity gains like visiting a new biome, according to this mod https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vocp_ySy6xc
Much of it, yes. You still get more at any one time from dialogue interactions, but overall the base affinity increase over time just from doing stuff with them is most of your total affinity increase, especially with paramour. Paramour should also increase the amount of affinity increase from dialogue, though. So when your companion says they need to have a chat with you, down some paramour before talking to them.
