from the other thread about how amazing starfield is because it hit the top spot on xbox store for game addons.

That Tim Lamb, Starfields lead creative developer while talking to The Gamer (a link in the article from the other thread.)

That while the studio is proud of what the launched. However, he is also aware that the general sentiment of the community is not all positive, the studio realises the RPG's shortcomings and will continue to release content that improves upon these drawbacks.

The article goes on to say, while Starfield is a much better game (than it was at launch) with the updates it has received, However there are still plenty of things wrong with the game. With more updates it might eventually become a much better experience, but this will take a lot of time. Fortunately Bethesda is willing to stick with the title.

Well how about that, empirical proof straight from the horses mouth that the admit the community, no parts of it, not a minority of it, not trolls or haters, THE COMMUNITY in general are unhappy with Starfield, and they are listening and willing to invest the time to fix it.

Read that and weep defenders.

And finally the kind of public admittance from the developers that will make me continue to monitor Starfield as they work on fixing it, maybe one day the game will be the masterpiece they promised us all.

That's nice...some of us didn't need to know this though as many enjoy the game as is, but it's nice if you needed validation.

The fact remain that the majority of players like Starfield, they did at launch and they still do. Kudos to Bethesda for improving on a good game by listening to constructive feedback.

In the video on the store page the studio call their own game a master piece, are you confused about what such wordage conveys?

The majority of players in fact do not like Starfield or the developer would not have come out and said them words in that article, they would not be trying to listen to the community nor trying to fix the game.

Admit it, your entire year long crusade just got owned by the Starfield's lead creative designer.

They are working to FIX starfield and make it better, their own words, you do not fix what is not broken, you do not admit in public the community is not happy with your product and then say your working on making it better for a minority.

Defenders defend no more, BGS own words prove the lie to all your claims and rants over the past 11 months to anyone and everyone unhappy with Starfield.


As I have always said, the game is not trash, and it is not good, it is straight average across the board, the only reason and I mean the only reason why average has received so much kickback is because of who made it, how long they took making it, and how much they spent making it, that drags it from average to a poor game, and that is the consensus of the community. The one the lead creative developer says they are listening to, to fix the game.

They have been regularly posting developer blogs since Sep 13, 2023 stating what issues they are addressing, complaints/requests they’ve heard and thanking the community for feedback. The overwhelming majority of people that enjoy the game will say it has flaws, I have no idea why you’d think otherwise or believe this is some “gotcha” moment.

That means some people are happy and others are unhappy, about various things in the game

It's a very obvious and non-committal statement.

You're twisting their words, the community in general is not unhappy. "Not all positive" =/= "All negative" or even "mostly negative".
