Another texture problem
I had this problem that many have reported of white buildings, that was fixed by changing the name of a file ( Starfield - Textures01.ba2 to Starfield - Textures.ba2 ).
However I have another problem some weapons do not show visually in inventory. I mean I can't see the image with the weapon selected. It has happened to a Maelstrom (other can be seen fine), an Equinox, the Ace gun you can buy at Jemison's and a couple of others. They are visible in hand, 1st or 3rd person. I wonder if someone has also seen this, and maybe a fix?

Intel 8600K i5, 32 ram, nvidia 3090, windows 10. Reinstalled game yesterday. But that isn't it, because the game worked perfectly before, with the same mods I had before which are minor stuff. And the strange thing is only some weapons, for example one Maelstrom is invisible in inventory while other Maelstroms aren't.

you need to check your load order and for updates for your mods , driver updates , probably should clear the shader cache too

Thanks, I'll try but I suspect this might be something doing with settings or .inis like the other problem because it appeared at the same time (after last major update).

I found something. The problem is with some attachments. I had a vanilla Coachman, normally visible, I started modding it in the workbench and when I applied a reflex sight, kazam! it became invisible.
OTOH, the Equinox is invisible when vanilla. However, I found an Equinox with an automatic receiver attachment, and that one was visible. So probably the default semi auto attachment is the bugged one.
And I think the problem is another Texture.ba2 file, but how to know which one and how to fix?

stop blaming the game , you modded it and now it doesnt work , your problem is with a mod
geez just go thru them and find the ones that need to be updated

Well, I don't appreciate your tone, but... You hit the nail on the head. The culprit, Clean Reflex Lenses. So thanks.
