Why is the Observatory a mod...if not a way to get us into the spending system ?
They make us download something free to make us want access to paid content.

Most Bethesda's "mods" are things that would have easily fit into an update.

In the same way, they gave 1000 credits to those who had bought the premium version prbly because they know that these are the most hooked players and the most likely to buy more credits...another way to push sales.

And what about this free mission that leads to other paid missions ? Yep, yet another scam...

There's nothing actually inaccurate in what you say, except maths is happening from the background to the foreground, almost everything is maths.

Personally I find it off-putting when people try to onboard me to mtx with free stuff, or any of the other tricks that are used, because I know these riders and I know their number.

The truth is, though, it truly works on the average mostly bald ape-descendant, because it's one of the many bugs in the human brain. just like how they made the modders fix their games every time they released any game, with a gun at their heads lol.

the one thing they couldn't make me do, is purchase this game, even with that gun to my head.

maybe one day they will make me, but it's just not good enough to make me purchase it yet.
