Finding Anasko bugged ?

I was tasked to find Anasko in the anomalous cave : found some traces of his presence alll right but not him ! Inanza keeps sending me to the cave that does not show up anymore and the pointer justs keeps to my spaceship as if the quest was in space somewhere. I completed a number of other quests but what can I do to unlock this one ? Thanks for your help and enjoys the game !

He can be a bit tough to find if you are not paying close attention and the quest marker looked the same for me. While you are in that area open your surface map and look at the big structure which is where he is, Once inside follow the faint little wisps in the air.

Common bug and very annoying. There is a video on YouTube that shows how to get there which is how I finally found him. Just don't leave the cave without speaking to him - he is there honest.

I hear this alot from people. I too, thought I had the bug. Until I accidentally stumbled into a corridor I missed for 10 minutes. I couldnt figure out where he was suppose to be in there, and I was just jumping around aimlessly, out of annoyance, and was suddenly in a part of the cave I hadnt seen before. No idea where the opening was, or when I went through it, but there I was.

So the Herald said to go to the end and into the portal, they put footsteps leading you in and still many don't see it. There are a couple places where BGS decided to make the route more challenging and these seem to trip up many who are used to just following the blue dot.
