i put 2 skill points into lasers and i got 20% damage increase from the cutter
i put 2 on pistol and i got 20% increase damatge
but when i put 1 in ballistic and 1 in pistol i dont get 20%
is it 11.1? are those numbers that are round up on display because why bother showing 0.1%?
no the damage before skill is 10 , after ballistic 1 the damage show as 11 , after ballistic 1 + pistol 1 , it still 11.. shoudlnt it be 12 ?
Because they are 2 different skill sets.
this is what i found on internet about the ballistic weapon
this should apply to all weapon with bullets right ?
----
Ballistic weapons deal physical damage by firing actual bullets or other projectiles and represent your classic guns, so shoot an enemy enough times to fully deplete their HP and they die. The range with Ballistic weapons tends to be fairly short, unless they've been modified with a new barrel and scope to extend it, and some of the basic ammo types are ubiquitous so you shouldn't find it hard to keep the standard weapons topped up. Ballistic weapons you're likely to encounter include:
Coachman shotgun - caseless shell ammo
Drum Beat rifle - 11mm ammo
Eon pistol - 7.77mm ammo
Grendel rifle - 7.77mm ammo
Kraken pistol - 6.5mm ammo
Lawgiver rifle - .50 caliber ammo
Maelstrom rifle - 6.5mm ammo
Pacifier shotgun - 15x25 CLL shell ammo
Rattler pistol - .27 caliber ammo
Regulator pistol - .43 ultramag ammo
Sidestar pistol - .27 caliber ammo
Urban Eagle pistol - .43 ultramag ammo
wil update again after i tested
there is SO MANY THINGS to do in new atlantis omg this game is incredibly fun (for me)
you're crazy for New Atlantis?
wait until you have been to Neon, Akila, Hope Town, Paradiso... and eventually Dazra if you have the DLC...
anyway, if you like the game, thats good for you... because it only ends when you can't figure out what else you want to do... besides Missions and Stories.
but the damage of my pistol dont stack with ballistic that throw me off
yes i just got the game and enjoying it slowly , i dont want to RUSH and do everyting in one hour
Have you tested with other pistols ?
Not all of them, but yes a pistol can be a ballistic, laser or particle beam weapon, and corresponding skill bonuses should stack.
Yeah I know, i realised that about 2 seconds after posting and amending what I said :)
yes i tried the eon pistol and a stubby pistol which name i forgot.. both deal same damage on screen (except when crit)..
ill try with shot gun skill later if i ever got one to drop for me
