Seems pretty darn successful to me.
Just like a lot did not care about 1000 planets no one cared how many Sq miles the skyrim map was. They were more concerned what was init. People remember heading off to do something and getting distracted by cave, shrine, dragon whatever. Then remembering 1-2 hours later...oh I meant to do (insert here). Really the only distracting thing between quest points in SF are load screens. As a result no one noticed all that much how bad the writing was in skyrim(or FO). With SF it's front and center.
Then of course there is the whole forgettable "legendary" item rng. Which generally makes people go "meh"...why did I waist time going to this poi, safe, location?...and never do it again. Again no distraction from bad writing or cut/pasted poi's.
EDIT I suspect it's fairly large concern for a lot of the "lurkers"
I mean come on, even if Bethesda announced a DLC for Starfield today it's going to be near 2026 before that dlc is out.
An since Shattered fart space did 26 percent or something well not a good year.
Did t need the thread though.
You haters are giving the game more attention than it deserves and I liked it...
Fallouts a spin off from Elder Scrolls and Starfields a spin off of a spin off because they do t want to release tes 6 without updated hardware and engine...you guys are way to focused on this game...
