I'm watching for the game Exodus as my replacement for Starfield.
Someone alerted me to this game on this board.
I became a Founder when I learned about the Awakened Bear.
Thanks.
That is funny. If you don't like Factory games this one isn't your cup of tea. It is just the exploration and the incredible tools to build these structures in your own way I like.
I watched a stream of it and to me, its a game that is more fun to watch than to play.
Im not saying its bad by any means, just doesnt tickle my fancy. Im not one of those gatekeepers.
Interesting. I thought to bring more focus to the by getting rid of them. There should have been some mechanism on the ship for doing things like that. If they got rid of outposts would you still like the game?
but yeah you must like factory games to enjoy satisfactory imho, its a bit different game compared to starfield.
Its basicly just expanded outpost play that i really really wish starfield would take a bit note of and "copy" some of the best things from these factory games to their outpost system. At least on some simple way to not make it too complex and have it more relaxed outpost building with simplified factory game mechanics.
I built a few basic ones for quests on my first play through, didn’t feel a compelling reason to engage with them. Money/resources wasn’t really a problem for me. Did zero outposts on my NG+ run and still liked the game fine.
i didnt get into outposts or ship building.
Ship building I found more compelling because it affects the combat, I’m just not very good at it. People make some cool things with it, but I’m not that skilled. I did deck out my Kepler R with some high end weapons, engines, shields and it got the job done well enough.
Well, where are the pics?
I hear you. Me too. I am starting a new save though and it might be a while before I get back to Starfield. I am learning to mod though.
i think what people do with it is amazing. I just tried it and couldnt figure it out so i moved on to doing more quests, haha.
The idea behind it is intriguing. I think they could do a better job teaching folks how it works and maybe improve the process slightly.
