Anyone's Ships Suddenly Cause Crashes on Entering?

All of a sudden, no changes (mods and such) and now it keeps crashing / hanging on most of my ship entries. Anyone else been experiencing this? Any workarounds?

Edit: A few more details: Basically, whenever I enter the ship, it goes into load, and stays that way. I can interact, as in press the "Tab" key and other such stuff, and I can hear the game responding to my key-presses (sound effects), but nothing happens... at all. Reminds me of that Power Armor glitch in Fallout 76 where you enter the armor, but instead the game just kind of hangs there, you can press keys, but nothing happens.

I can Alt-F4, reload, and go back into the ship... until it happens again, which will probably be after maybe 2 more successful entries, the problem is back.

Yes, I have had this a few times. It seems to happen if you modify a ship in a way that is not valid, and once it happens you need to reload an earlier save. It may be fixable if you change home ships and never touch (look at, enter, modify, or sell) the offending ship again, but its better to back up to before the bad editing.
If there is another cause other than a bad edit, I do not know what it would be.

Where you playing with the ship's decorator?

Using empty habs with the ship decorator? I had issues with this, that I could not resolve and just sold the ship.

I have not modified my ship. I have not used the decorator even one time yet (I appreciate the option, but most of my playtime was before that option even existed).

I will say this... the "problem" seemed to start when I captured a Hymn... but, that could be a coincidence. Also, I switched to a different ship (recalling the Hymn to have previous problems), but the issue persisted.

Quitting the game, and reloading... is the only temp fix, till it happens again...
