there are two broken elevators in the game
One is in New Atlantas near mast during a UC quest and the other to go to the sixth circle, T2 button the elevator get's stuck and wont move and you end up using no clip tlc to get to the sixth circle

Never had a problem with elevators.

it takes months for elevator mechanics to do their jobs so you could be waiting a while lol

I have some decorative mods for the ship and settlements and a clothes mod and a mod that changes Vasco and the easy lock pick mod and another to skip companion's side quest

I just switched out Arthmoor Unofficial Starfield Patch - USFP in favour of Starfield Community Patch (SFCP) [www.nexusmods.com] which as way more endorsements then the other patch mod

I'm about to do the UC quest near mast with the broken elevator and well let you know if it bugged out

I had the community patch installed and removed it.

I started having a few quest bugs after installing it.

There is a stairwell down to the 6th Circle in case you want that. Or you can always just boostpack down. Not sure which mast elevator you are referring too so.

the one where your debriefed about the Terramorph and need to get permission to go to achieves about old terramorph research

The reason the community patch has more endorsements is because the USFP mods decided to wait for the Creation Kit to do a proper round of patches. The CK allows more to be done. During that wait, people tried the community patch and endorsed it while the USFP was on hold. It really doesn't have anything to do with quality. And it is possible that the switch you made is the cause of you elevator problem.

That's a good thing to try first. If the patch isn't the problem, then you'll probably need to just work through your mods, disabling one at a time, until you find the culprit. Also, just to be sure, validate the Starfield files via your Steam library. Good luck!

I removed every single mod and deleted the creation club ship habs/hub mod and the elevator not moving at mast is still happening

Loot indicates ten plugins installed only all vanilla plugins

I had the same problem 8 months ago its crazy Bethesda hasn't fixed this yet. If only they weren't so worried about adding paid mods and worried about fixing the game first. :cozyspaceengineersa:

Have you started a new game with all mods uninstalled.. or are you trying the same where the information from said mods is probably baked into the save file already and would still be impacting the save game even though its gone.

I only ask because even swapping from one unofficial patch to the other without starting a new game means the old one could still be the problem.

(Unless things have changed with modding bethesda games these days then ignore me :P )

I ended up having to moveto console ref id of vasco at the lodge and then went back to where the quest was at and completed the quest

A reddit discussion solution suggestion was to teleport out of there, but teleport was disabled and player.moveto 000057BE <--- vasco ref id at the lodge

i found that booth these patches are quite buggy at the moment and you better off at using non of them

I'll leave out the patches for now then

I tried a companion mod called the gangs all here and it caused the game to freeze up when you had several with you, so I removed it the other day
