Trackers Alliance mission board question.
Sooo...I'm not about to shell out any money for something that should have been included for free in a patch thus I'm playing what WAS made available for free. My burning question is this: Does the mission board ever actually give any "good" missions? I've been seeing 5000 credit reward missions for taking out like a lvl 4 crimson fleet ship. Oooo nice...I'm lvl 51 and on NG+ 3. These missions are like taking candy from a baby, ruthless bloodthirty babies, but babies none the less.

yes and no. 5k is almost twice the reward of normal missions, but the TA 5k missions do not scale well; they seem to frequently involve lower level enemy if your character is high level. I prefer to put a board down at an outpost on a level 75 planet after you get tired of the TA 5k ones.

The only differences are:
TA board offers alive bounties, which are buggy and
They pay a little more, which isn't enough to care about at high level anyway given that you get 6-8k per gun at that point.

so basically, just do them from an outpost on a 75 planet at your level: its easier to get to, better quality enemy, and you will still get astra in the chest or off the bosses from them so there isn't any motivation to slog back to akila every 2 kills.

Okay thanks, I'll go ahead and try that out. Never really had any motivation to build an outpost before either so maybe I can get two birds with one stone on this one. Just a shame about the Alliance HQ serving no real purpose though aside from paid quests and astra rewards. Some of those Hunters are actually fairly interesting!

Minimum enemy level mod. ALL spawns will be set as close to your level as possible, with the exception of enemies that are over your level.

One way to maximize the tracker bounty missions is to check out what else is on the planet using the new updated maps.
I have found some of the best loot and most fun areas were surrounding the specific tracker alliance mission areas.

By doing that with every single tracker alliance mission, I have found some really good unique areas.
That was how I found Vultures Roost, which is the largest and most fun area to kill the legion of bad guys that are there, and get massive loot in the process. So much loot you won't believe it. Just go there and have fun. Literally hundreds of thousands worth of loot there. It is in the Jaffa system on Jaffa IV. Just make sure you have the lock picking skill and lots of digipicks when you go there.

calling it an outpost is like changing the reactor on the razorleaf and saying you built a ship :)
you can plunk down the outpost marker and the tracker's mission board and its done. I put a chest there too, and dump contraband into it so I can sell it all later rather than dodge inspections etc or make side trips for 1 unit.

Also, if you never have, an outpost with a landingpad + ship builder module is nice. It has most of the parts from all manufacturers, good for structure editing and small hab updates at least. You still have to make occasional trips to get a specific part, unless you mod the missing parts onto it.
