FreeStar gear?

Any way to find or buy some upper tier FreeStar gear?

I already had to steal to get my Ranger hat, but the SF space gear is mediocre at best and is the basic tier. Would love to find a version I could actually use. According to some wiki's it exist, but I don't know if that was pulled from the game or from program files.

That is interesting. I would also like to know the answer to this. I would definately wear it.

Play the Freestar story line, you start with deputy gear and when you finish the story you wil get clothing a full suit a badge and a ship

Did that. That's how I got the Ranger space gear. However even though I was level 36 I still just received basic gear, no tier at all, so in other words, basically useless and only good for display on a mannequin.

On a game without lvl cap expecting the best gear at only lvl 36... nye no, gotta lvl up a bunch more before superiour gear shows up, somewhere near the 80 orso. The first noticable suit would be the constelation suit. These tend to become Superiour the earliest.

For the first few universes the reward gear is prety mediocre sadly enough and your mostly running that mantis monstrosity or that Anti Xeno suit from londinion

I already find and use Advanced gear. I just can't find any for the Ranger gear, or find the Ranger gear at all. I figured if it was in loot drops or in a store, higher tiers would eventually pop up, but to my knowledge it isn't available in an loot drops or store, thus upper tier never appear. Just trying to find out if anyone has found a way to get it. Even if I was level 400+ it makes no difference if the gear isn't available.

I am not aware that most quest rewards scale at all, so no, you will never be granted a suit of advanced ranger gear at level 200 when you NG+ the ranger quest line. Its a 2 edged sword... there are known locations for advanced white items you can get at level 1, but at level whatever NG++++++++ your rewards are all pretty lame. Ships too... almost all the ships you are gifted will be A class junkheaps.
