Can we fire the entire bethesda team get the Fallout London modders to make the games

Seriously Fallout London makes fallout 3 and 4 look like trash and starfailed isn't even close to being a decent Bethesda game so it makes it look like it was slapped together by 3 guys in a shed. I know they hired a few of the devs from Fallout London but they should hire the lot and fire the creative dead ends they have right now. Not only would it make all current games better but the next elder scrolls might actually stand a chance at being good.

I still think Fallout 3 is amazing but yeah not so much Fallout 4/F76 and SF, which are all a step back from classic BGS games...

Fallout London is cool and all, but the mod is basically being held together on duct tape.... seriously. It's very ambitious, but also very crash-heavy. Before you go ahead and say "Well Fallout 4 is crash heavy". I've played a number of other large mods including stuff like Fallout Frost and Sim Settlements and never ran into any crashing.

Thats a bit harsh... BGS used to make the best open world rpg's around and had like 3 GOTY's in a row... Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Skyrim were all amazing games...

If you never liked BGS games then why are you even here...?

Bethesda was fine once upon a time, but the dev teams got lazy and the fanbase just kept excusing it rather than calling them out. Now the stuff they put out can hardly even be called slop. So when I saw the sale it made me curious how much copium was still being huffed.

It's like watching a battered child shelter where the kids keep trying to rationalize the abuse away. I mean you guys actually let them charge you for mods. I don't even understand the rationalization one would have to use to convince themselves they were being completely taken advantage of. Paradox's "mod spotlights" are a bad enough example of a development company starting to rely on it's customers to make it's product, but Bethesda is on a whole other playing field. You guys will actually let them screw you over any way and then thank them for it.




That said I enjoyed reading your coffee schism threads trying to eat each other. It's been a long time since I've seen so many jannie personalities in one place before, and the result was suitably entertaining, if a bit predictable.

Oh please no Dean Carter (the project lead for Fall Out London) is 90% political activist and 10% actual game designer. 3/4 of the Fallout London team are already so politically obsessed that they make Bethesda devs look moderate.

I don't want politics in my games any more than I want it in friendly conversations, but that is exactly what is going to happen if they take the lead in BGS. I'd rather play a game that is fun than another CNN by-product.

Well, to be honest, what Bethesda needs to do is working on KEEPING their devs in their teams.

Every games released by them is a shadow with pretty graphical upgrade from its predecessor because, by the next game, the key members of the team moved out of the company due to a high level of stress caused by the many cases of miscommunication and lack of vision, understanding and acceptance from the upper management.

Nowadays, quite a few ex-Bethesda employees who did a big part in the decision making (or was part of the small core team that did >80% of the work) have published a video or an article of their experience at Bethesda (the good/great beginning following by a downfall by the next game) and why they moved on.

Bethesda is known as extremely stable company for employees. They are literally the first company with a union. That tells a lot about staff turnover (that is very low).

Trolls are getting annoying these days. Annoying and boring.

PS: not saying that Bethesda needs an upgrade. Mostly in the speed of development. However, their games are always the largest, even without proc gen.

Without fallout 4, fallout London wouldn't exist... Modders MOD existing games, they don't create them. Very different skill set.
