Skyrim had around 200 dungeons. Why so few POI in Starfield?
I don't care if they use the same materials for walls and stuff. Just make more POI with different layouts, please!

Now, see, if I were in charge--and maybe it's good I'm not--but if I were in charge, I'd have made the POIs modular and roguelike, so every generic, unnamed landing spot would generate POIs build from pre-made pieces put together in a different order each time.

Think "Enter the Gungeon", but with habs and landing pads and crap.

That would at least add some variety to it. It's what I'd do.
Same with ships, so you could encounter something unique each time.

Starfield has over 200 different locations, just so you're aware

Then why do I get the same UC Listening Post over and over in my maps? :(

Cos it's easier to make that way?

Admittedly it has been a long time since I found a new one.

The oddest ones are the ones with deeper stories, like the Dogstar factory. You got skeletons, notes with a story going on, etc. First time you play it it's pretty cool. But then you see the exact some place again on a different planet, and again, and again, each time with all the skeletons, the notes, story, etc. I love these kinds of POI's, but when you see them back to back it really bust immersion.

But this is what you get when you have a 1,000 planets to fill up. Do wish they would have kept the story within a couple systems, but that ship's sailed.

But as far as your request, I seriously doubt they'll add a bunch of new POI's. Would love to see it, but I doubt it will happen.

Why will all the structures on the moon and mare look very similar in real life? Because one company will build them. They will duplicate all the items, and they will use them over and over.

Creation Club...

Why include content with the base game when you can give the base game away for free via GamePass and then milk the playerbase later on via MTs? Want another POI? $5.

How many loading screens did Apollo 11 persevere? Their needs to be a balance between real life and fun.

Not really. Supposedly, the new DLCs will be more focused on new content and individual type stories.

Oddly enough, Creations are 98% free content.

According to the wiki, it looks to be just under 200. Unless you're counting every single shop, or building, as a separate location. The main issue for me, is that most of them are extremely small locations. Maybe taking 10 minutes to get through, at most. And thats if you're playing slow and sneaky. With alot of locations being little more than a single lootable chest, or a couple items. I miss big dungeons. :(

That's great if you wish to play as Batman or simply cheat. But we are talking about quality content that is missing in a title we have already paid for.

Because Mr. Todd wanted to fill the game with paid mods, that's why the game is so empty.......
Now that his move has gone wrong, you'll have to wait for good mods to come out....
Anyway, you have a lot of them on Nexus

I only have one hope, all those mods that Bethesta surely has, that it won't be able to sell, will be included in the DLC

I love a good conspiracy theory. Especially ones that showcase Todd Howard derangement syndrome in full flight.

Hot take, but I actually don't mind running into the same POIs, because it makes the unique POIs that much more unique when you finally find them. Imagine if you could find all the POIs in the first few hours of play....that would be even worse.
