Another thing I didn't like from the extensive gameplay I've seen is that you steal from NPCs in front of them and they don't even notice, literally looking at their faces and they don't notice, the NPCs are almost all static, they don't move except for a couple of them and I don't understand how you can kill an NPC in one hit Bud Spencer style and then need three or four blaster shots to kill him.
I continue to reaffirm myself, Starfield is infinitely better in almost everything, more challenging and fun and as a Star Wars game it meets the requirements and if it comes close, as I said before Starfield with the Star Wars mod is better.
The water looks awful and the graphic quality is very fair, the gameplay I saw was on PC at 4K with everything to the maximum and it is not that good at all, very fair I would say.
Yep!! I know exactly what you mean lol It seems like those kinds of NPCs that you're describing have been a thing since the first Assassins Creed. Doesn't seem like the NPC behavior has ever been updated.
Honestly Star wars Genesis is really immersive, i m playing at the same time cause the bounty hunter thing with companions, ship and very customisable gameplay hit the spot for me. Outlaws is decent but not something i will probably come back you are some sort of an outlaw but without conviction. You definitely got the feeling you are in a video game, universe is good but it's Ubilike...
i remember at the begininng of rumors, journalist were talking about a really immersive-sim game on the SW universe, with proper background etc and when i heard it was Ubisoft i was like, hum not this one. Ubisoft make decent game ( i dont put WD legion, Valhalla, Breakpoint, Far cry 6, didn't play Avatar) but they always missing the GOAT. When you have SW, you can just skyrock the attention from gamers..
Yet, I don't immediately dismiss something I know little about because of the manufacturer. Developers with good reputations have released stinkers. Developers with bad reputations have released gold mines. I'll give anyone at least one chance even if they don't have the best reputation unless the reputation is outright criminal (and not perceived as criminal by the entitled).
(Bethsoft lost the chance for my preorders on everyone, though. Enough people abuse a privilege too much, everyone loses the privilege. Bethsoft's SF was the tipping point. Bethsoft has one last chance to make me care about SF. I'm not holding out much hope, but they'll still get the chance. I'm betting I'll not be in this forum after September, but maybe they'll prove me wrong.)
Outlaws has a lot to prove to those who I trust to have a consistent opinion which I'll convert their biases into my preferences. So, it's not as simple as reviews.
But that's Outlaws. That's not SF. They each have their own battles to win.
You are absolutely right that Starfield's launch was a disaster and I am also wary of buying BGS games day one now but it is much better now and I hope that the DLC that is coming out now and I already bought the fat edition of the size since what I have seen looks good and I am looking forward to Knights of the Last Republic - Remake which for me is the best Star Wars game for many reasons and I hope it meets my expectations within the Star Wars universe, we all know here that the only good thing is the original trilogy and KOTOR is Star Wars in its purest form, the second trilogy episodes 1,2 and 3 mehhhh I didn't like them and the last trilogy is directly for the trash.
They might as well rename it Star Wars : Inlaws
I'd actually be more inclined to play it, if that was the case. Imagine a Star Wars, Sims-like game? And not like that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ DLC for the Sims 4. Full character customization and clothing options. Build your own starship and player home. Star Wars careers. A needs system.
Marry a Twi'Lek...every nerd's dream.
Hell, it would basically be singleplayer Star Wars Galaxies. Is it too much to ask for a game like this?
I think you're asking too much. It seems that now the supposedly big companies (there are some exceptions like Capcom and other developers) want to get the maximum benefit with the minimum effort with games that are not up to par and on top of that they tell you that it costs millions to develop and make them when due to the quality they have it is not like that.
I hope they go back to making good games made with care and thinking about the players and not about money at all costs with false promises and short videos to fool you, now they seem like politicians.

and I plan to play them both to scratch very different itches.
Star Wars : Checkpoints.
*glances awkwardly in Starfailed's direction*
