Star Eagle not showing up

This is probably an old issue, but started a new game, got all the way through the Ranger quest line only to be given the Star Eagle and it's nowhere in ships inventory. I've gone back a ways in the quest several times but always ends the same, w no ship available.

Has there ever been a fix for this on console?

Have you tried going to the Ship Technician and seeing if it shows in your inventory there? If so you can then activate it there.

Also, are you running any mods?

(I've always rec'd the Star Eagle with no issues on each of my play throughs)

Been to technician on Akila and New Atlantis. No mods. I've always received it before as well, several times. This seems to be a known issue (if googling it is any indication). But I've found no solution(s).

Have you tried verifying the integrity of your Starfield game files though Steam?

I've had that issue once and I fixed it by reloading and doing other missions before the last FC one.

It seems that getting other ships (other than the frontier/SB guardian) before completing it is mandatory for the Star eagle to spawn.

I suspect it's related to a tutorial prompt (Like the ones that pop when you get a new ship for the first time), but that could be something else.

Haven't had any problem in 6 or 7 times doing the quest, when I already had collected an other ship before completion.

i have the same issue im on my 4th rebirt gotten it all times without issue but in those the free star rengers quest line wasnt the first faction quest line i went down but i will try that buy another ship complete a diffrent quest then see if that fixes it

so i loaded an older save before i did any free star renger missions and progressed trough the main story for a bit longer until i got the first temple and a ship of enemys landed i took it over registered it and sold it then i sarted getting tutorial pop ups again and now i went trought the free star missions again but this time i got the star eagle

so not sure what fixed it maybe the progression for the main story or that i stole a ship registerd it and sold it

also i forgot i got the razorleaf in stead the mantice ship for a while

My first save had some borked quests. This was one of them, but it never happened again in the next 12 NG's. There is a console fix that puts this ship in your inventory.
