I have the same questions and wondering now what I missed. Not sure but one npc gave me no choice. Never did figure out how to not take the credits.
There is a Youtube video showing a playthrough of that quest. The guy couldnt figure out the best way either! He wandered around lost alot of the time to!
But! In comments along with complaints he didnt do it properly and complaining he was lost so much there were helpful comments as well. lol
There is a door in the floor the player character has to open at the end. Then there is a big fight and more quite good rewards than everyone knows about!
There are like 3 entirely different endings for that quest, and the best one is secret with alot better rewards than the advertising says! Supposed to be a door in the floor at the end is all i know.
Unfortunately, I gave up and finished that awesome mission days ago (Red had to die) and even deleted the saves because the game does not like me having more than a few… Ended up with money I don’t need, Avarice (ditto but would look nice on display) and some placeable items — a cute golden vase, a pyramid and a pile of golden cards.
But I have another high level character in yet another NG+10 universe and intend to do this quest with him as well.
You can redo the quest.
Any DLC or mod can be uninstalled easily, then enter game and save without the mod. Then install mod or dlc and done.
Uninstalling a mod can be done in game on title screen, but it is easy to do with the plugins text as well.
So any DLC or mod can be done again easily.
The vulture gun is not bugged. That was fixed more than a month ago.
If you watched the Luke stephen video, it's lazy misinformation as usual. He didn't update his mod that's why his gun is still bugged.
It sure isn't, but it's also not particularly hard to beat the puzzles. There are multiple options for each room which is very fun.
It reminds me a lot of the "cube" movies.
There are many little alternate paths and a whole secret ending (more like a hidden and missable whole chunk of content). New best quest on the CC without a doubt.
Some people get really lost without the handholding.
I expect the next video from Luke stephen to sound like :
"So I tried the escape paid creation, you can make a choice at the end but nothing matters, you are teleported to your ship and there are no more dialogues or explanations it feels like it's bugged, 1/5"
Poor guy cant even update his mods manually, imagine solving a puzzle that isn't about following a blue marker
