Escape! The new dlc quest
I have a question for anyone who completed this puzzle quest. I don’t know how to ask it without a huge spoiler so please don’t read further if you are planning to play it.

………

This is a fantastic puzzle quest. And it is creepy as hell. I loved it. But I finally got stuck. I solved every puzzle, including the one where you need to act within seconds or die. My score was 95,000 before I got to make the final decision — there were three of us and only two were allowed to leave. The quest is about a psychological experiment involving Greed. One of the final rewards is a cool looking gun called Avarice.

So, my final choice was whether to stay myself and let the other two leave or let one kill the other (an easy solution that allows to finish the quest right away). I chose to stay myself because this was about GREED (there is Matthew 6:19 quote in the first room) and various clues told me that there was another way out, inside, and I should reject the Mammon gift. Rejecting the gift, the slate said, was the only way to escape. But how? I unlocked every door and poked my nose into every damn crate. The game just tells me to find an alternative way off the station. No pointers of any kind. Also, I haven’t found the Clue #4 (found 1,2,3 and 5). I don’t know, everyone lies in this psycho quest, maybe that slate lied too?

My question: how do I escape? If you finished the quest by staying, have you found your way out? Or do I have to load a save and just let another man die. So much for “You cannot serve God and mammon.”

I seen it, but thought it was a rip off of the Fallout New Vegas dlc Dead Money, and I installed a mod to skip that lousy dlc

Uhhh, I bought it and it was amazing. Starfield is so great. Everytime they come out with something, it gets even better.

Attack the item that Red refused to pick up, then go back to the area with the fan. You should be able to figure the rest out

I have the same questions and wondering now what I missed. Not sure but one npc gave me no choice. Never did figure out how to not take the credits.

Yes that quest looks well done, everyone is saying so.

There is a Youtube video showing a playthrough of that quest. The guy couldnt figure out the best way either! He wandered around lost alot of the time to! :steamhappy:

But! In comments along with complaints he didnt do it properly and complaining he was lost so much there were helpful comments as well. lol

There is a door in the floor the player character has to open at the end. Then there is a big fight and more quite good rewards than everyone knows about!

There are like 3 entirely different endings for that quest, and the best one is secret with alot better rewards than the advertising says! Supposed to be a door in the floor at the end is all i know.

I got both the guns. One of them I put on a weapon rack and now it disappeared. Uggh.

Well, thank you all. So, I guess I am supposed to destroy the prize just like I destroyed that small decoration thingie in the computer room and then somehow find a door/trapdoor/whatever under the piles of junk?
Unfortunately, I gave up and finished that awesome mission days ago (Red had to die) and even deleted the saves because the game does not like me having more than a few… Ended up with money I don’t need, Avarice (ditto but would look nice on display) and some placeable items — a cute golden vase, a pyramid and a pile of golden cards.

But I have another high level character in yet another NG+10 universe and intend to do this quest with him as well.

It was quite interesting watching several streamers play the new DLC quest. I expected more of them to find the true ending or at least realize what's really going on there at some point.

Putting up a second paid quest while the reward for the first one is still bugged is the most bethesda thing ive heard...

You can redo the quest.

Any DLC or mod can be uninstalled easily, then enter game and save without the mod. Then install mod or dlc and done.

Uninstalling a mod can be done in game on title screen, but it is easy to do with the plugins text as well.

So any DLC or mod can be done again easily.

so, hint number 4 was never used in the game files, so dont stress about finding it.

The vulture gun is not bugged. That was fixed more than a month ago.

If you watched the Luke stephen video, it's lazy misinformation as usual. He didn't update his mod that's why his gun is still bugged.

I won't get Escape unless another mod depends on it. I prefer to blast my way out of a problem and from what I've seen on Youtube that isn't how this quest works.

It sure isn't, but it's also not particularly hard to beat the puzzles. There are multiple options for each room which is very fun.

It reminds me a lot of the "cube" movies.

There are many little alternate paths and a whole secret ending (more like a hidden and missable whole chunk of content). New best quest on the CC without a doubt.

Some people get really lost without the handholding.

I expect the next video from Luke stephen to sound like :

"So I tried the escape paid creation, you can make a choice at the end but nothing matters, you are teleported to your ship and there are no more dialogues or explanations it feels like it's bugged, 1/5"

Poor guy cant even update his mods manually, imagine solving a puzzle that isn't about following a blue marker
