Vehicle control independent of camera?

I hate the car going where I'm pointing my camera at. I want to be able to turn the car and camera independently. This is particularly bad if I try to shoot to the side or behind me as I'm driving. These controls make that impossible. And I can't find a way to change this behavior.

Is there any way to fix this, or will I have to wait for a mod for this?

do a search before posting, there is a serious issue there yet it is hard to keep it highlighted if every person makes a separate post about it. there are 2 control options, they are both stupid and won't allow for an independent camera. i'm not sure if a mod could fix it.

The vehicle controls suck azs !!
I wanna look with the camera not #$%&#% steer with it !!! and then make the camera see see 180 degrees (or maybe a little less) left and right. ... hell the terminator game from decades ago did it infinitely better than this crapola.

The controls for the vehicle is horrible. Is there a way to change it yet?
