Can't interact with anything after the update

Not just a mod issue. I've uninstalled all mods and verified my files, still doesn't work.

I do not have any mods or creations but my E key does not work. Just started today after I had been using buggy with no issues. I went to grab some adhesive in Spaceport JM and all of sudden E key will not activate purchase dialog. I went to Akilla and same at all vendors.

There is an easy fix for this and it is quite bizarre.

Press Escape once in game and select Quit to Main Menu. Then select Continue on Main Menu and it should work.

For the life of me I do not understand why this works but it does every time for me. No Mod changes were required for me."

Yep I saw that earlier and tried it. No change. Also deleted my ControlMapCustom.txt file but I do not see a StarfieldCustom.ini file anywhere - was suggested to delete that. also did file verification. All 475 verified.

StarUI is getting really buggy. I had to disable it to accept the trackers alliance mission. Unfortunately it's no longer being maintained, so if this most recent update breaks it completely it's probably done for good.

I have the same problem, except that I also have a texture bug which makes certain buildings appear shiny white...

I don't have any mod that modifies the textures, so I can no longer play my game or test the buggy...

I'm really starting to get tired of the chaos of their updates.

Same issue here, I don't have any of the three mods and cant interact with anything, also game crashes when i try to save the game.
