Afetr few test, I decide to check the patch note and see this. With the huge amount of Youtube vidéo explaining they use this feature to create the most beautifull ship in the community, I can't believe that Betehsda decide to wipe this feature from the ship builder without warning or consulting the community.
And? You have main character syndrome, bud.
As someone already said modders will probably put it back in.
Yup after some research, I might have found the solution by changing the tweak tolerance with the properties fShipBuilderModuleOverlapTolerance.
Will test it after my vacations. Will tell you if it worked in few days to finish my mod. Take care pilots.
It doesnt break existing ships, you just cant place the parts the same way
I don't like relying on unintended glitches for building, its the one reason why I hate building in No mans sky.
The way I see it : if you're serious about building you should use every useful mod that exists, there's no reason not to. I can't imagine a serious builder not using world edit and schematic mods on minecraft for example.
So either you're very casual and don't care about this particular glitch being fixed, or you're a dedicated builder and use placement tweak mods anyway, but I can't really relate to an in between standpoint
