How can I activate the car I bought? (PC)

I bought the new car in Cydonia. I wanted to drive the car around Narion a bit, but it's not in front of my spaceship :'(

How can I activate the car?

did you build a buggy bay on your ship first, says you need it in the patch notes

When I bought my car, the mech said they would install the bay, and it was there when i landed on my next planet.

I don't think it pops up for use in the cities. It will however appear 300 feet up on the top of your landing pad at your outpost so you can drive it down the stairs. It does work like a jetpack, which is cool, but still, duh?
Otherwise it is beside you when you land on the ground out in the wilds, which is where it is most useful.

The patch notes are on serious crack laced with LSD. There is no ship module for the car, its just a vendor 'buy it' and its done, it magically appears after that, no changes made to your ship.

Well, they sure deducted 25.000 from my credits, but so far no vehicle in front of my ship either. And I cannot "manage" my vehicles at the service technicians but I can apparently keep buying new vehicles, deducting 25 grand each time, but still no vehicle outside my ship. Even after landing at several locations.

Seems my purchase is never set as "active", and the "set as active" doesn't work. Wtf?
