Id say yes, its worth playing now.
A good sign indeed
I’m in shock, myself. Beware the long con.

To me, nothing changed.
The UI is still cluttered as hell.
The HUD is just tedious. having 2 Bars, that depend on each other, on opposite sides of the Screens makes zero Sense and is just annoying.
Too many Loadingscreens.
Too many Menus in Menus in Menus in Menus.
Nothing feels natural.
Companions are annoying.
And nothing really seems very human-like. The Story Writers either must be new in the Business or just Bad.
The Story itself isnt good, and the side-Quests and generative Quests are often boring and at worst tedious.
Also, the Performance of the Game still isnt good, even tho the Game doesnt look good enough to justify that horrible Performance.
Battlefront 2 from 2016 ran Butter smooth with 120FPS and looks by far better than Starfield. Theres no excuse for the Game to run so poorly.
Also, the new Car that they made available, drives Horrible.
The Maps just arent made for Cars, too much clutter.. too many Trees, too many big Rocks. too many Holes.
All in all, its still the same Game.
Like others said, wait for the DLC.
If they dont write a Patchnote that reads like they just made Starfield an entirely different Game, dont bother starting the Game up.
Make of that what you want
