Planet skins missing

Since new update today All the planets have the same skin Green in colour with red marks and the message you should not be seeing this written on the planets. Anyone else getting this?

I am. every planet looks like its wrapped in candy wrapper and the stars look burned out. The just-okay-serpent apparently started the apocalypse.

Restarting the game fixed it for me -- I suspect it's an issue with how the game builds the shaders on the first load after install or an update, and that it's not loading them correctly the first time round.

Not had any problems since that first load.

I decided to play again after a couple of months. I ran into the same thing. Restarting seemed to work. You would think they would have encountered that in testing?

Well if somehow they could recreate every option that players have installed on their PC's I guess you'd have a point. But they can't possibly cover every possible install. So...

I just went back to the main menu and reloaded the game. It cleared it up and it never happened again. Shader cache maybe? Someone else will know better. I just know that reloading the game from the main menu fixed it.

Restarting does fix it, but not permanently. I have had it occur twice now in the last week or so.
