It's a video game, fill yer boots!
Thing is, one of them is trying to limit and mitigate the harms brought onto innocent and unsuspecting people, the other openly wants to exploit them.
Not true. They both kill people for essentially the same goal.

I didn't say the emissary was Jesus, I said they were trying to mitigate the harms caused by Starborn, and it is perfectly clear every time they open their mouth.
In the exact same way that the hunter is perfectly clear about his agenda.
Again, not true. They’re both wanting to gather all artifacts to themselves and keep others from them. And the person who identifies as the Emissary also identifies as (at best) Enlightenment. Which means their morality is relative and wishy washy.
Eternitys gate is actually much better because inflictors are stupidely op
But that is a pretty good Orion.
And the point you obstinately refuse to accept is that the hunter is a scumbag who wants to have "fun" and do whatever the hell he likes... just for the lolz.
It's not a question of good vs bad... it's bad and waaaaay effing worse!
Apologists for evil kind of make me throw up a little bit in my mouth.
The Emissary and Hunter have the same goals. One just surrounds it with flowery language while the other gets straight to the point.
hm theres a slight difference between getting artifacts using "flowery language" or straight up slaughtering unsuspecting people
I mean the emissary isnt adverse to killing but not remotely on the same scale...
Emissary: I’m killing you for your own good. It’s good, because I determine who gets the artifacts and therefore the outcome. I want to be in control.
Hunter: I’m killing you because that’s the way of things. I want the artifacts, but I’m not trying to control you. Kill me, and you win.
Two sides of the same coin. Though I would say the Hunter is more genuine.
No, thats not whats happening...
The emissary isnt portrayed like that at all. They're mostly trying to get an agreement with other starborns.
The hunter is butchering starborns and regular people alike with no attempt at negociation.
The difference is so straight forward I don't get how you can miss it.
I got this gun in my 40s and see no use for the unity as the spells suck, and everything is to make the aforementioned sucky spells stronger.
