EA would never close Bioware because the Label is worth Money, and anything that is worth Money won't be discarded by them.
And there is also the fact, they don't want a backlash, and they will get one if they ever do that.
People still don't forgive them for ME3 ending, or that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game....Anthem? or whatever it was called Lol
They can and I think will. But hopefully I’m wrong.

But they aren't Bioware. I know, it make Bioware sound like a special snowflake (because it is) Lol.....
But they are NOT closing that Brand. They couldve done it when Swtor was a fail and went f2p so fast and is working with a skeleton crew. They could've done it with MEA being a dud, they could've done it with Anthem even AFTER they tried to save it and had to face reality....
And they didn't.
And they will NOT. Believe me, they won't. At least not yet.
The only way for EA to close down Bioware, is for them to aquire something to replace Bioware with. That way, it will shut the screeshing they will get, and keep making money they would lose closing it.
They haven't found it....yet.
Its all about fun though and its to bad some try ruin even that, but its not all bad, and hopefully it works out.
The emptiness is so prominent that the game feels hollow. Even the Wasteland of Fallout 3/NV/4 feel more alive. Even the marshes, fields, and mountains of TES 3-5 feel more alive.
"It's supposed to be empty." I'm curious why they didn't fully market it like that, then, instead of letting people get hyped for something other than what they claimed (after the criticism) they intended to do.
My ideal is that Humanity has spread like a plague across worlds (as they'd do in the time it took to build NA, Neon, and Akila and have a couple of wars).
Better spaceflight and encounters would be cool, but it's the dead space that's my biggest issue.
I wouldn't bank on that. They also had Command & Conquer, and they royally screwed that over. Apart from a Remastered set of C&C1 and Red Alert 1 (which was done by another studio), there hasn't been another C&C game. One massive screw up.
For me, EA is now known as the studio that releases a football/soccer game every year and hope they treble their money from those stupid Ultimate Team packs. I think that's where part of the gambling issue came from but don't quote me.
I haven't bought one of their FIFA games since FIFA 15. Don't think they even call it that anymore, as they didn't renew the FIFA licence. One of my most hated studios.
My son really liked that series, but we both liked Red Alert far better.
But yeah me too, I haven't bought an EA or MS game in so long I can't even remember what it was so they couldn't have been very good haha!
Same here. I bought the Remastered set because it's nostalgic for me, and it wasn't developed by EA. Lots of bonus material and outtakes from the mission briefing videos too. My son enjoys playing it too, and he isn't into strategy games.
C&C Red Alert is great. Woo!
