Building different types ships in the ship builder, and the ship builder itself isn't really that good.

I am one of the rare ones that actually like this game and I still think it could have had so much more potential, but unfortunately because how people massacred this game for imo no reason there isn't much hope for it to get better and to be the game it could have been.

Nah man, that's just misery guts who want everyone to be as miserable as them. Online spaces tend to be extremes. Hopefully the first expansion and mod tools will give some much needed growth to the universe

You are far less rare in your enjoyment than you may think. Perhaps here on the Steam forums, but in the greater community you share a much more common view

There had been a lot of movement on SteamDB showing something is in the works, and hopefully soon

Then testing your ship, by finding a scenario; where there is at least 4 enemy ships.
Disabling the lowest lvl enemy ship, board / claim it and see if your main ship is strong enough for the AI to destroy the remaining 3 ships by itself. Its quite fun.

If your ships strong enough, it will easily dispatch the other 3.
If its not; they will blow it up and it will be removed from your inventory forever.
Or until you reset with an older save.

They did indeed upload a lot of builds recently. Doesn't suprise me, they are kinda behind schedule. 6 week update cycle, last full release was 19th March and MS will need another two weeks once the beta is out.
