Just remember, if you see a creature called a terrormorph, run. There is one of them on Kreet, that moon you go to right at the start to deal with those pirates at the research station. It's not at that location, but I have found it twice already when I go exploring a bit.
Not finished is not the same as bugged.
The mission board won't generate new missions until the ones currently taken are completed.
???
Not being able to finish a quest means it's bugged. It will stay in the questlog which keeps the game from generating a new quest. Eventually you will get a second and third bugged quest. If you don't accept them they will stay on the mission board. No way to reroll them.
Read what he wrote in his OP. He tried to reject the quests after receiving them. Not finished means he has chosen not to do them. That is different from the quest being bugged and unable to be completed.
Yes and I said OP will eventually encounter bugged exploration quests where not being able to reject them becomes an actual problem. A quest in a system above character level however is doable.
I'm going to try these missions...
