Google fails...How do you use "gun bashing"

I googled that question, and all I get is a bunch of people talking about how it's good to use or bad or things not relevant to what I want to know :)

What BUTTONS DO YOU PUSH TO USE THIS! I can't find that with Google :)

I've pressed the keys on the mouse while holding down SHIFT, CONTROL and ALT. Even TAB. Nothing makes me bash something with my rifle :)

I found a legendary rifle I want to use, but one of the legendary power is "Gun Bashing" and nothing tells me how to do it :)

It's Skip something legendary, every 4 shots is 2 shots and you can use it in melee with "gun bashing".

On gamepad I believe it's clicking in the right stick. Not sure on keyboard and mouse, but it's in your keyboard in-game so I'd check there.
