The new gameplay settings are awesome!
The new settings to make this game more realistic and more like a survival game which makes Starfield a much better game, and it was a great game before.
I am now playing a new playthrough with most of the new settings on and enemy combat and ship damages on extreme, and I am having soo much dang fun more than in my previous playthrough.
These new gameplay settings is easily a game changer for Starfield.

It certainly does change the game play. For the better, in my opinion, too.

Okay, so as a bystander, I have a question. When you enter NG+, does the difficulty continue to scale up, like in Fromsoft games? What changes? I don't mind spoilers.

I'm looking forward to this update,

ive read from folks that it does continually get more difficult. But i cant verify if thats true based on my experience as i have not tried ng+ yet.

is the writing still aweful and the gameplay still dry?

The writing will fill you with awe, but they have not added any water guns yet.

The story is still the same, but the gameplay has drastically improved once you change the gameplay settings how you want.
The way I am now playing it's not just another run & gun shooter now you will die if you play that way. You have to use cover and not waste ammo like before, and just simply have to think before and during combat.

Survival game eh? Nope, not a survival game until they get rid of leveling skills, abilities, and equipment.

It makes it more realistic and more like a survival game. If you haven't played it yet with the new gameplay settings then you just don't know.
