The DLC will add to the game most likely not really change any current content. But that is an assumption and we will have to see when it arrives.
First off if you want to advance in Starfield you have to complete the main quest so avoidance not possible. Second, the main story is not fine in the slightest, most people, vast majority (check reviews) think it's very poor.
I disagree, the Ryujin quest was quite well crafted: compared to the Starborn cluster f[_]ck which is going to take a genius to make it any way decent, it could have been a lot more interesting with just little more work.
No eazy peazy & same reply to you as tkwoods: if you want to advance in Starfield you have to complete the main quest so avoidance not possible.
It does need fixing because it's absolutely terrible, worse then the lamest 80's cheese horror movie I've experienced.
You can advance in the game without doing the main quest. You can't go through Unity or gain powers but you certainly can advance the character and play a lot of content.
You don't like the main quest, I do. I doubt those that like the quest are as verbal and loud as those who don't. I don't care if the majority like or dislike, I think it's acceptable.
/shrug I hated the Ryujin quest. It was laboriously long and uninteresting.
I only did it for the achievement.
That's probably the most soothing explanation to their seemingly misguided apathy, otherwise I dread to think.
That's what I mean. You can't advance if you don't do new game+.
So - not agreeing with you is "misguided apathy".
Sounds like a personal insult to me. ?
I found the sneaking around a bit fun. Would have been nice to have some "gun ho" moments but overall pretty good: decently created NPCs with good scripting. It didn't go far enough though, the mind tech could have brought the UC and FSC into another war, so many possibilities missed.
Missed I guess for someone who enjoyed the storyline.
