Failure to communicate quest bug
When trying to repair the satellites 2 of them had map markers so I could actually fly to them while the other 2 do not and simply show a quest marker on the planet itself, however, if i fly to the planet orbit there is no satellite and the marker disappears too.

This seems to be a bugged quest state since I reloaded an old save and had all 4 markers active, however this would require me to lose like 2h of progress.

Any way to fix it and make the markers show up again without doing that?

Can you just travel using the quest menu?

You should have a space battle at least for two of them. It's been a while since I did this last but never had this issue.

Selecting through quest log has the same problem of taking me to the planet but not the instance where the satelite is since everything in this game is separated into tiny instances.

When I reload the old save that actually works I can see all 4 instances on the map and fly to them without problems but in this current screwed save 2 of them simply dont exist so the quest marker just points to the planet itself but the satellite isn't there since thats a different instance.

Looks like i just have to take the L and lose all the progress and loot I got from exploring a planet while doing this quest before noticing it was bugged since I don't see any way to make the satellite markers show up again aside from reloading an old save where thy are not bugged.

I don't know what to tell you. The only time I had quest hang was not letting the dialog finish (rushing the system).
