Defending a multi million dollar company is NOT okay

What is it with big titles and their fierce defenders?
It feels like straight up "fan cults", especially when it's a game from a big company like Microsoft and Sony.

So how to tell what really is a game? Is it perspective or personal opinion?
It's both.
There were a lot of people having fun within the first hours of Starfield before realizing what this game really is.
1000 planets on a SINGLE map? Nothing ever could go wrong here....
What the game is NOT is trash. It has some well loved mechanics from previous Bethesda games.
Objectively Starfield is a game full of planets with hardly anything on them, copy pasted buildings and uncreative fetch quests are the narrative of it.
It's sad to see Bethesda move away from their own way of doing things but that's the biggest downside from being under Microsofts flag.
They had too many people working on it with no clear direction and Microsoft forced them to push it half-baked (as it still is today) out.

So why did the previous statements has anything to do with the fan cult of Starfield?
Everything!

It is not fine to celebrate a company like Microsoft (I don't see Bethesda at fault here, at least not as the driving factor) which already have an income of millions each month for pushing out a mediocre game.
They own 23 big game development studios and have their head in the clouds.

Things need to change. Nevermind if it's Microsoft, Sony or Nintendo.
If everything would be like these gaming companies are imagining things gaming would have a sharp decline. Who needs Hallo 5000, Pokemon copy and Pokemon paste and live service games who eventually won't get supported anymore and "die"?

Tell me a single AAA studio which acts FOR the consumer and not for the money.

And here we conclude.
Defending a game title and developer under a bigger company which is objectively boring is not only super selfish but also not okay.

I was involved in a lot of those conversations and i think most folks agree vehicles were a missed opportunity. Heck, its one of my criticisms of the game.

I do think you are hung up on a few folks that got under your skin and you think its absolute.

Ive been guilty of it bud, i thought everyone was a hater for a long time because of 2 people, they got to me. We need to see beyond that bs.

I have never once said this game or BGS was perfect. Every time I ask for a link to these fictional posts where people either attack or defend I get NOTHING... Why is that?

It's because they don't exist. If they do show me one.

Nonsense. Everyone who cares at least a little about the game agrees that vehicles would be a great addition.

The only negative posts I've ever seen about implementing vehicles are from people who state that "they wouldn't fix anything because the game too bad and unfixable".

We should be thankful for updates though, thats not defending BGS. Thats why i am asking for specific quotes as i want to understand what you consider defending multi billion dollar companies as.

Saying "its great BGS released a patch" is not defending a billion dollar company.
