Barrett's personal quest not triggering

I have Barrett's affinity at level 1,325 but his personal quest still isn't starting. I've been with him for about 20 - 30 real life hours without changing companions.

Please help

It's been that long since the last "I need to speak to you" quest came up.

It triggers thru conversation AFAIK.

I've done about 20 side quests along with the enitre Ryujin questline and it still doesn't happen.

I even exhausted all of his dialogue choices.

On my 1st PT (Play Through), it worked as intented. But now on my 2nd PT i haven't done it yet, plus i'm on the beta, who knows...

There is nothing in the Activities section of the log? You may also need to talk to other members and clear their quests.

AS far as Barrett I only did his quest once. It's a long series of time gated dialog.

all that is in my activity log is to tell mei to run the red mile, ask yannick to work at Xenofresh, location of the ECS constant, and examine the mission board

But nothing related to Barrett

Which personal, exactly? The one about his boyfriend being framed or the one about visiting a Temple? The latter starts only after High Price To Pay/Missed Beyond Measure.

The one where his boyfriend is being framed. I never played that quest before.

The articles just say you need higher affiliation and have him as a companion. Being a good guy helps as well.

In NG+ his power quest triggers even if you choose the option to save everyone. He'll bring it up after you deal with the Starborn on Masada.
